12 years

As of today, Scott & I have been together for 12 years. May 17, 2000 he asked me to be his girlfriend, and we haven't looked back since :-)

New projects outside

This is what the side of our yard looked like before I started. We had put in these blocks last fall, but decided to wait until the spring to put anything else in there.

Here's how it looks now! It's still slightly a work in progress, but hopefully these will grow up big and small.

Scott's "pond" out back is doing well also...see the two new flowers that bloomed last week!

And check out this guy--he was just hanging out while I was watering plants the other night. (and no I didn't get this close...totally used the zoom feature for this!)

There's a lot more to do in order to get the yard ready for summer, but we're off to a pretty good start!
