Izzie vs. the possum
The possum won.
This little creature was on our deck, apparently enjoying the grease left over from our grill. Now normally, I would expect a dog to go CRAZY when something this furry is about 3 feet away from it. But no...not our Izzie. All she did was bother us with her whining. She was shaking while she was sitting in front of the back door.
Nice guard dog!

Nobody puts Izzie in a corner
Throughout the weekend Scott and I would often be heard saying "Where's Izzie?". Ever since her tags came off and got buried in the snow in the backyard, she's been awfully quiet and hard to keep track of.
This weekend however...she pulled a new one...she was found "hiding" behind the papasan chair we have in our family room. Not sure if she was just trying to get away from us or what...

Optimum Commercial
Okay..so the subject of this clip isn't the best...but it still makes me laugh everytime I see it!

I'm copying this from a blog that I normally read (link is on the right...newlywed) You should really read the blog if you get a chance, because it is really funny!
I can't help but laugh at how true this is :-)
This is the difference (according to her) between a wife and a bride. I'm so obsessed with weddings that it caught my eye.
Exerpt:
A wife is a nagging, frigid woman who cooks, cleans, and makes babies. A bride is a pretty, young, thin woman blushing with the possibilities of a new life. A wife is too tired to blush, let alone do anything else.
A bride gets showered with gifts. A wife gets showered with responsibilities.
Of course, there is a matter of comfort.
A bride eats nothing, wears an uncomfortably tight (albeit beautiful) dress, with tiny shoes and a thousand pins in perfectly coifed hair.
A wife eats whatever is in the fridge, and snuggles up on her couch wearing fuzzy socks and PJ pants with hair pulled back in a pony tail.
I guess if you made the right decisions on the day you get to be a bride you’ll have a husband sitting next to you on that couch with you who loves you just as much as he did when you were a bride.

Izzie
You know...you can have the worst day in the world...and then you come home and see something like this and it all seems to go away! :-) Izzie loves to look out the window to see if "daddy" has come home yet.
