Thinking ahead to the New Year

It's December 31st and I can't help but think "Where did November and December go?" Frankly the first part of the year flew by really quickly too...but I think that was just because of the wedding in October. Since then I swear I haven't had 2 seconds to think for myself.

I can't believe I have fallen so behind in so many things. You'd think that after living in our apartment for 2 months I'd have things together...but no! We hardly even have anything on the walls.

I'm not sure why, but ever since I started my job here in Columbus, I just can't get anything done during the week. I'm so tired when I get up that I just lounge around and occasionally work on something. Gone are the days when I used to be able to go shopping or scrapbook in the time between waking up and going to work. Now I can hardly muster enough energy to cook dinner. (much to Scott's dismay) Then I swear I cram everything into Fridays and Saturdays and I'm so tired by the time Sunday rolls around. We don't even have a dog or kids to blame the lack of sleep and energy on!

Here's hoping 2008 brings more energy...and hopefully a new schedule at work! I know that has to be part of the reason I'm dragging so much. I'm pretty tired of being a vampire...

Silence

Silence can be the greatest thing you can ever hear...or the worst.

That's my thought for the day...I know, it's not very deep but I'm REALLY tired today!
